Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 25, 2026

This privacy policy covers two products: rawops.dev (website) and RawMon (mobile application).

rawops.dev (Website)

Data We Collect

rawops.dev does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not require user accounts.

Analytics: We use Umami, a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics tool. Umami collects anonymous page view counts, referrer URLs, browser type, and country (derived from IP, which is not stored). No personal information is tracked or stored.

Server-Proxy Tools: Five tools on rawops.dev make server-side API calls on your behalf (DNS Lookup, WHOIS, HTTP Headers, SSL Checker, Certificate Decoder). The target hostnames you enter are sent to our server to perform the lookup but are not logged or stored.

Data We Do Not Collect

  • No cookies or tracking pixels
  • No email addresses or user accounts
  • No personal information of any kind
  • No advertising or third-party tracking scripts

RawMon (Mobile Application)

Local-First Architecture

RawMon is designed as a local-first application. All monitoring data, credentials, check results, and incidents are stored exclusively on your device in a sandboxed SQLite database and iOS Keychain / Android Keystore (via Expo SecureStore).

Data Stored on Your Device

  • Monitor configurations (URLs, hostnames, check parameters)
  • API keys and credentials for connected providers (encrypted via SecureStore)
  • Heartbeat history and check results
  • Incident records and notes
  • NFC tag configurations
  • App preferences and settings

Sub-processors

For full transparency, the following third parties may process limited data on our behalf:

  • Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) — delivers iOS push notifications. Apple's terms apply.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — delivers Android push notifications. Routes through Expo's push service using our FCM Server Key.
  • Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and Worker hosting (push relay + LA push). Cloudflare's terms apply.
  • Expo (expo.dev) — push notification routing. Expo's terms apply.
  • RevenueCat — App Store / Play Store subscription validation (Pro users only). RevenueCat's terms apply.

We do not use:

  • Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, PostHog, or any other third-party analytics SDK.
  • Sentry SaaS, Bugsnag, Rollbar, or any other third-party hosted crash reporter — our crash reporting is self-hosted on our own infrastructure.
  • Advertising networks of any kind.
  • Cross-app tracking identifiers.

Data We Do Not Collect

  • We do not have access to your monitoring data, credentials, or check results — they live in your device's SQLite database.
  • We do not track your location (geofencing runs entirely on-device).
  • NFC tag data is stored locally and never transmitted.
  • We do not sell or share data with brokers, advertisers, or any party not listed above.

Background Location

If you enable geofencing profiles, RawMon uses background location to detect when you enter or leave defined geographic areas. Location data is processed entirely on-device and is never transmitted to any server.

Data Deletion

Uninstalling RawMon deletes all local data. To remove your push token from the relay, disable push notifications in the app before uninstalling.
